Oil on Sand Paintings

The art of sand paintings is very versatile. 

There are paintings of sand on beaches,not just writing names on sand. There are sand sculptures beyond the castles by little princess'. 

And there are painting of sand over glass or canvas, where in sand is shifting and created again to even tell stories.

Historically sandpaintings have been practiced by native Indian, Tibetans, Indigenous Australians, Japanese as tray paintings.  

Then there are oil paintings on Sand canvases. These give the unique grainy texture to the painting and provide depth to colors. The oil on sand paintings are long lasting and an expression of the artist.
